Wicked Weekend Wrapup (Countdown to Halloween Day 4)

Had a very unique experience Saturday night. M and I went to a haunt that I have not been to in a while. It is about an hour and a half drive from our house THE HAUNTED HOLLER. The unique thing was we went with the majority of the Haunt crew from our local Haunted Attraction, MOUNTAIN EMPIRE'S HAUNTED FOREST. It was quite a memorable experience standing in line to get into a haunt with about 25 people from another haunt.

We did not do an official review or walkthrough due to not getting permission from the owners. It was fun though. Lots of Pros and a Cons, but still exciting and good time had by all.

Haunted Holler is a multiple attraction kinda place. They have a Kid Zone with black light glow stick stuff. A Haunted Hayride (which was shut down due to weather) and MONSTER TRUCKS in addition to the haunt itself.

The haunt is in a 100 year old house that you get to explore from the attic to the deepest darkest parts of the HUGE underground basement. They had this huge animated fog breathing gargoyle perched on the roof of the old house. There were some pretty amazing props inside.

This was the scene as you entered the house.

This was the last picture of M as she went to go play with the "Bunny"

Just kidding...M (aka Captain Awesome) is just fine. We picked up a few more items for our Halloween Party while we were out as well which included THIS!

I will get some actual pictures of it in action as soon as I get it set up.

With all the rain and traveling for Haunted Hyjinx, we have not had time to do much on our own Haunt display, but we did manage one very cool effect for our Kitchen Window:

Hope your weeKEnD was wicKED!
